We are displaced persons, each of us was relocated to the Khmelnytskyi region during the hostilities that began in 2014, later we were joined by the displaced persons of 2022 and residents of Khmelnytskyi. The head of the board, Doroha Olena Serhiivna, has been engaged in social activities since 2010. She had a public organization “Law and Order” in the Luhansk region, later she managed to transfer it to the Khmelnytsky region and rename it to “Transformation 007”, but with the beginning of the war on February 24, 2022, there were difficulties with opening an account, so we were forced to create a new public organization “Rehabilitation and recovery center”. Olena Doroga worked as a public relations specialist at the Executive Committee in the city of Oleksandrivsk, Luhansk region, and has many years of experience in resolving personal conflicts in the community. She was the secretary of the public council in the Khmelnytskyi community from 2015 to 2018. She worked as a communicator in the public organization “Women’s Anti-Corruption Movement” from 2018 to 2022. He is the founder of an internet marketing business.
Our goal is: rehabilitation and recovery of injured persons. We strive for every person who has suffered the consequences of war or domestic violence to recover morally, to find meaning in life, integrity and harmony. The target audience is IDPs, families of military personnel, women who have suffered from domestic violence, people who need palliative care.
In our public organization, there is a person Kotsarenko Nataliya Yuryvna, who has 20 years of experience in social work, a certificate of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy – a social worker. She has a lot of experience working with the homeless, families of SHOs, children and teenagers, orphaned children in the rehabilitation center for children. Teacher of preventive lectures in educational institutions. Since 2014, she has been conducting rehabilitation and adaptation programs for people affected by the war. He has experience working with the disabled. Head of BT “Happy Family – Friendly Country”, Lysychansk, Luhansk Region.
In our community, one of the representatives of the board members is a person who has extensive experience in working with people. Namely, Volodymyr Vedenin organized the main directions of All-Ukrainian conferences in different cities of Ukraine. He has many years of experience working with authorities, international and public organizations. Able to draw up construction documentation (projects, estimate documentation, organization and timing of works). In 2017, he worked as a coordinator at the “Ya-Volnovakha” (humanitarian project of the UNICEF Ukraine family support center). Worked as a director at Ya-Volnovakha BO in 2017. Work at the “Proliska” HOMGO (UNHCR project) as an analyst of consolidated information “Support and protection of local communities of the gray zone” in 2016. Consulting on management issues, services in the field of public relations, information services, social assistance services of the NGO “Proliska” on a contractual basis in 2017. Work at the NGO “Proliska” (UNHCR project) as Coordinator of the humanitarian center “Proliska Volnovakha” 2018-2019. Work at the NGO “Proliska” (project as the Head of the humanitarian center “Proliska Volnovakha” 2020-2022. Work at the NGO “Donbass SOS” as a UNHCR hotline operator.
We also have a psychologist and psychotherapist – Lyudmila Uspenska. Provides psychological assistance under the programs “Children and War: Healing Techniques”, “Emotions SOS”, formation of self-help groups according to the methodology of the “Gurt” Resource Center and provision of individual advisory assistance.
If necessary, we also involve resettled psychologists. We cooperate with a speech therapist and a defectologist (immigrants).

Our project activity.
Since 2010, we have been implementing the project “Promoting the sustainable development of Luhansk region by reducing information barriers regarding climate change and linking the impact through public participation” with the support of UNDP in the city of Luhansk.
With the beginning of the war in 2014, we moved to Khmelnytskyi and were active in civic activities. During the period from 03.25.2022, the NGO “Rehabilitation and Restoration Center” helped more than 1,000 displaced persons in providing housing, warm clothes and blankets, handed over 1,700 kg of humanitarian aid to the city of Mykolaiv, 925 kg of humanitarian aid was handed over to the Khmelnytskyi community, as well as we provided psychological support to more than 300 people who suffered as a result of military actions of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
From November 2022 to January 2023, we participated in the implementation of the “Smail” project, which was introduced by the Terre des hommes Charitable Foundation. They were trained according to the methodology “Movement, games, sports and creativity” in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk and independently conducted training according to this methodology for psychologists, social pedagogues and physical education teachers. According to the project, a children’s room was created on the basis of one school in Slavuta.
Starting from March 1, 2023, became participants in the “ProAction – Protection in Action” project, the purpose of which is to provide basic needs and improve access to adapted housing, education and quality child protection services for conflict-affected children, adolescents and their families in Ukraine, which is implemented in five regions of Ukraine.
The project is implemented by five partner organizations – the Terre des hommes Foundation in Ukraine, the Zahid Chance Charitable Foundation, the Charitable Foundation “Smile of South America”, the public organizations “The World in Colors” and the “Rehabilitation and Restoration Center”, with funding from the Swiss Solidarity Foundation.
In the Khmelnytskyi community, the ProAction project is implemented by our public organization and the NGO “World in Colors”.
Our task is to provide social and psychological support to vulnerable sections of the population – forcibly displaced persons, families in difficult life circumstances, persons of the Roma diaspora and persons with inclusion. Also, our social workers, after visiting the above-mentioned people, will draw up maps of children’s needs, among which we will choose those who need help the most and in the future we will provide them with financial assistance.
Our psychologists and facilitators are already organizing trainings and activities for children according to the methodology of the Terre des hommes Foundation “Movement, games, sports and creativity”, which contributes to better reintegration and adaptation of children in the communities of Khmelnytskyi region. Also, under the project, parents will be able to attend special psychological training on positive parenting.
Recently, we signed a memorandum with the Shepetivskyi, Dunayevtskyi, and Izyaslivskyi centers of social services, we cooperate with the regional department of social protection of the population of the Khmelnytskyi region and established cooperation with the department of social protection of the population of the city of Khmelnytskyi, the settlement of Nova-Ushytsia. Events were held in Lisovohrynivetsk and Khmelnytskyi communities before the Children’s Protection Day.

The mission of the organization is to help vulnerable, socially unprotected segments of the population and other persons who find themselves in difficult life conditions, their rehabilitation and recovery.
To realize the set goals, the organization sets itself the following tasks: cooperation with other associations, implementation of various activities, provision of social services, implementation of various projects and programs.
